Ultra soft silicone free gel (Shore A 8) for reducing structureborne vibrations and shock absorption. High vibration isolation and shock control for HDDs or lightweight component enclosures. Silicone free with no molecular siloxane gas. UL-V0 version also available.

Disk drives and other light components often need very soft vibration and shock mounting solutions due to their low weight.Ideal for making HDD surrounds, isolating enclosures for light components or moulding into fan gaskets. This highly damped silicone free gel offers an alternative to traditional foam and rubber sheet damping. Three materials available: ultra soft clear 55 gel; ultra soft white UL V-0 55V gel and slighly firmer black 90 UV resistant gel. Operating temperature -20 to +60c.
Simply cut from sheet. Available as standard in 1,2,2.8,3,4&5mm sheets. For volume production requirements, this material can be produced as moulded parts. 100% stretch ratio, low compression distortion.
