HDDs often need very soft vibration and shock mounting solutions due to their low weight. Our range of highly damped thermoplastic grommets ideal for light load isolation.

Made of broad temperature range thermoplastics with -40c to 100c (-40f to 212f) continuous operating temperature. Intermittent temperature supported up to 125c (257f). The range of grommets below available in 10 standard levels of hardness from Shore A40 to Shore A70.

For extreme environments these grommets are also available in standard
materials for -66c (-87f) temperatures. 
Isolation stiffness only changes a small amount across these broad temperature ranges.

Highly damped with minimal resonance response. Combines the strength and environmental resistance of thermoset rubbers with high damping and processing efficiency of thermoplastics. UNC 6-32 or M3 fixing bolt with integral washer available with TorX10 head for selected grommets. See our other thermoplastic grommet range
